2008 Golf Masters odds

The odds have been set. Woods has a 1/1 odd to win the year’s first major, and a 9/1 to capture all four majors, also known as the Grand Slam. Along history, no one has yet managed to achieve the Grand Slam, and there’s a reason why nobody hasn’t: it’s really difficult.

Wood says: “Most of my career, I've won four tournaments in a year plus. You just have to win the right four. The whole idea is to have your game peak four times a year, but you might also need to be lucky because you might have your game peak and somebody just outplays you."

Some of the favorites to win the Masters, apart from Woods, are Phil Mickelson, with an odd of 8/1, Padraig Harrington with 28/1 and Geoff Ogilvy with 33/1. Phil Mickelson has already won two Augusta tournaments and is a possible runner-up for achieving the first Grand Slam ever.

Golf fans have already begun to bet upon these candidates and wait anxiously until the tournament develops. There’s nothing more exciting than kicking back in your living room, tuning into a breathtaking session of professional golf players and wait for that one player to succeed so you can get your bathroom remodeled next month.
