Most people could think that this is unnatural, because all football teams are supposed to have cheerleaders. The truth is that once, these three teams has a cheerleading squad and many high-kicking sideline crews amateurs must be asking why they went away.

From 1964 to 1970, Pittsburg Steelers team had their Steelerettes, but when the team moved into Three Rivers Stadium they were shut down. The members of the cheerleading squad were recruited by Robert Morris University and had to have at least a 2.0 GPA.

Chicago Bears team had its Honey Bears from 1976 to 1985 when McCaskey Family took the decision that cheerleaders did not fit the team’s rugged image. Some sporting bets amateurs affirm that Honey Bears demise is the reason why the team has not won a Super Bowl since 1985.

Green Bay Packers, technically, still have cheerleaders but, the squad is an unofficial group of rotating loaners from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay or St. Norbert College. At 1931 the Packers had cheerleaders known as Golden Girls and Paul Hornung was known as The Golden Boy.
